Bandale (Ben) Altidis

Principal Senior Audiologist & Founder

Bandale is a Principal Audiologist and Founder of Advanced Hearing. He is a well-known and trusted hearing specialist, who has been providing hearing care to Victorians with over 25 years experience in the industry. He is an expert in diagnostics, selection and fitting of the most sophisticated and discreet hearing aids available today, his experience also includes hearing rehabilitations, auditory processing, assessments and is internationally trained in vestibular and tinnitus management.

Bandale is a registered Medicare, WorkSafe, Veteran Affairs and is a Hearing Services Program Provider. his experience also includes hearing rehabilitations, auditory processing, assessments and is internationally trained in vestibular and tinnitus management.

In his spare time, Bandale is heavily involved in his children’s sporting interest. Many weekends you will either find him on the sidelines or being the first aid attendant.

A very keen traveler, he has travelled to many countries. One of the highlights both professionally and personally is the time with the Starkey Foundation, fitting hearing aids to the underprivileged Balinese and Vanuatu people. Bandale is now committing time every year to help the disadvantaged.

He is a keen Liverpool supporter and he is still celebrating the Richmond Tigers Grand Final win.

Peter Altidis

Principal Senior Audiologist & Founder

Peter Altidis is a Principal Audiologist and Founder of Advanced Hearing’s transdisciplinary team. Since graduating in 1987, he has gained a wealth of experience working in private practice, hospitals including the Eye and Ear, and with the University of Melbourne. He has been involved in the training and education programs for Audiology, Speech Pathology and Medical Students.

Peter is a past president of the Australian Association of Audiologists in Private Practice. He has presented papers on auditory processing, hearing rehabilitation, and listening and cognition at both national and international conferences. 

He has been involved in research into tinnitus and hearing rehabilitation with an extensive experience in the treatment of auditory processing and communication disorders in both children and adults, and works alongside ear, nose and throat surgeons in the assessment and management of balance disorders.
Peter specialises in hearing diagnostics beyond hearing testing, hearing rehabilitation beyond hearing aid fitting, tinnitus assessment and therapy, vestibular/balance assessments, auditory processing evaluation for both children and adults. He is accredited to provide services under the Hearing Services Program.
Outside of work, Peter prioritises spending time with his family.
