HEARING SERVICES FOR PENSIONERS & VETERANS

Advanced Hearing is an accredited provider of free hearing services for pensioners and veterans as part of the Commonwealth Hearing Services Program.

Services for Eligible Clients

  • Free hearing consultation and hearing test
  • Free hearing aids or assistive listening devices
  • Subsidised advanced hearing aids
  • Hearing aid maintenance for a small annual charge, which covers all batteries and repairs
  • Regular hearing checks to monitor any changes in hearing threshold
  • Rehabilitation workshop to improve listening and communication skills

Eligibility for the Hearing Services Program

You may be eligible to apply for a Hearing Services voucher if you’re an Australian Citizen or permanent resident, over 21 years of age and are a:

  • Pensioner Concession Card Holder, or
  • Resident receiving sickness allowance from Centrelink, or
  • DVA Health Card Holder, or
  • Member of the Australian Defence Forces, or
  • Dependent of a person in one of the above categories

How to apply for a Hearing Services voucher

The easiest way to apply for free hearing services is by calling our clinic on (03) 9890 2005 or visiting our head office in Surrey Hills. That way we can arrange an appointment instantly for a clinic location of your choice.

The Australian Government Hearing Services Program can also be applied for online or via a paper form obtained from the Department of Health.

If you are already part of the program

You have complete freedom to change from one hearing care provider to another. Therefore, if you would like to be seen at Advanced Hearing, we can assist you in the transfer process. Call us today on (03) 9890 2005 for assistance.
